I’m curious, what $200-$300 alloy pedals are you talking about?

Friendly reminder to service your pedals on occasion,

They’ve been the gold standard in street bmx for probably going on 35 years, which arguably exacts more abuse on pedals and parts in general than most MTB (rock strikes? Try intentionally grinding your pedals over a jagged ledge for 50 ft then doing it again? How about yard sale-ing your entire bike down a set of stairs? ). Apart from MTB flats having replaceable metal pins and hence better grip, I don’t see why a plastic flat body wouldn’t* work in an MTB application. They aren’t going to last as long as a $2-300 alloy pedal but at ~$40-60, who cares?

Great looking pedals btw
